Hey, I’m JR.

I’m a dad and husband living in Anacortes, WA with my beautiful family, trying to find ways to contribute to my local community. In a past life, I was a sports, wedding, and event photographer on top of being a full-time user experience designer. These days you’ll probably see me around town following my kids with an obnoxiously large camera, or chasing them down on bicycles.

Now, I focus on what brings me joy: capturing genuine, candid moments for families and individuals in this beautiful town. Whether it's a family portrait, a milestone, or just a fun day at the beach, my goal is to provide you with images that feel natural, warm, and full of life.

Living in Anacortes has given me a new perspective on the importance of slowing down and appreciating the little things — the smiles, the laughter, and the everyday moments that make life special. I want to help you preserve those moments, so you can look back on them for years to come.
